Called AirPort Disk, it's perfect for sharing files, making backups, and more. You can even connect multiple drives and printers using a USB hub (sold separately). And it works with both Mac and Windows.

Rest easy — AirPort Extreme takes strong measures to prevent unauthorized intrusion into your wireless network. It offers a built-in firewall and supports industry-standard encryption technologies including WPA/WPA2 and 128-bit WEP. Yet it's still easy for authorized users to connect to it, thanks to its simple setup utility and powerful access controls.

Works with iPhone, Apple TV and more

AirPort Extreme works flawlessly with Apple TV for wireless video and AirPort Express for wireless music. It's compatible with 802.11a/b/g wireless clients. And because it's dual-band, it works on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz spectrum, reducing the chance of radio interference. The AirPort Extreme Base Station is Wi-Fi Certified for 802.11n draft 2.0.
